Getting to Know Ellis Coleman

If you haven't seen the Chicago Tribune's front-page Sunday story on former standout wrestler Ellis Coleman, do yourselves a favor and go check it out. 

Coleman, 20, is headed to the 2012 Olympics in London after beating wrestler Joe Betterman in the U.S. Olympic Trials. In case you're wondering, he didn't use the Flying Squirrel move that became a viral video hit last summer.

Of course, Coleman is much more than that one move.

The Tribune's Brian Hamilton digs deeper and gets to know Coleman — his rough family upbringing, the challenges he faced on the West Side, the support he received after behavior issues at OPRF, his pursuit of Olympic gold.
