Gun Found At Middle School After Student Snapchat Video
A Berwyn school was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon after a student posted a video displaying a handgun.

BERWYN, IL — A Berwyn middle school was placed on lockdown Monday after a student posted a Snapchat video showing a juvenile displaying a handgun, police said. Police were made aware of the video just after 1:30 p.m. Monday. Officers found a handgun during a search of the Lincoln Middle School campus, 6432 W. 16th St., police said.
"Currently, Berwyn Police have four subjects being held for investigation in regards to this incident," police said Monday afternoon. "There is no threat or danger to the greater public or within the school as a result of this incident."
