Jukebox Choir Performing at ILMEA State Conference
Jukebox, a choir from Percy Julian Middle School, will perform Jan. 29 at the Illinois Music Educators Association State Conference.

Jukebox, which is one of the choirs from Percy Julian Middle School, has been invited to perform at the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) State Conference in Peoria on Thursday, January 29, 2015.
This invitation underscores the reputation the group and the district’s entire program have earned as being among the best in the state.

Under the direction of teacher Andrew Seymour, Jukebox, which is comprised of 42 students from Julian, has been rehearsing their conference repertoire since September.
In preparation for its appearance at the conference, the group will perform at the First United Church of Oak Park (848 Lake St.) on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 8 p.m. and at Julian (416 S. Ridgeland) on Wednesday, January 28 at 2 p.m. Both performances are open to the public.
