Man Caught Stealing Meat And Bourbon In Oak Park: Police

Police have charged Michael F. Kuesis, of the 200 block of McKinley Street in Waterman, with stealing four bottles of bourbon and some meat.

OAK PARK, IL — When police arrested Michael F. Kuesis Friday, he allegedly had enough bourbon and meat on his person to host his own private end-of-summer barbecue. Instead, Kuesis, 49, of Waterman, was charged with retail theft at Pete's Fresh Market in the 200 block of Lake in Oak Park.

According to a report from police, they were dispatched to the scene at around 3:40 p.m. Police say an employee of Pete's Fresh Market had called to report a theft after allegedly seeing Kuesis stuff several types of meat and four bottles of Bourbon in his bag.

Kuesis was taken into custody and currently awaiting a bond hearing.
