FBI Captures Maywood Man Accused Of Stealing $3K From US Bank In Forest Park
FBI reports allege that John Scudieri, 64, of Maywood, robbed a US Bank at 7525 West Madison in Forest Park on June 29.
FOREST PARK, IL — FBI officials have captured a Maywood man who allegedly robbed a US Bank in Forest Park last month. John Scudieri, 64, of Maywood, is accused of intimidating employees at the US Bank at 7525 West Madison and taking $3,118 during a robbery on June 29.
According to the FBI agent report, Scudieri allegedly entered the bank at approximately 10:51 a.m. and provided a teller with a handwritten note that said, "This is a robbery. Don't pull any alarms. Give me all the cash." The FBI report said the teller gave Scudieri $3,118 from her drawer and that surveillance video filmed him putting the money into a hat and slowly exiting the bank.
A Forest Park Police Department officer reportedly recognized Scudieri in the surveillance video and said she had seen him walking near the bank two weeks earlier. A bank manager positively identified Scudieri as the robber from an assortment of six photos, police said.

The FBI report stated that, when questioned, Scudieri admitted to robbing the US Bank on June 29. According to a statement from Scudieri, he is a heroin addicted who was in need of money to support his addiction.

Federal law enforcement is trying to track down a man who robbed a US Bank branch in Forest Park Thursday morning. The incident took place at approximately 10:51 a.m. at the US Bank at 7525 West Madison.
In a report, police said the man is described as a white male between 5'7" and 5'11" tall. He is balding and has a gray beard and mustache. During the time of the non-takeover robbery, the man was wearing a green polo shirt with a white undershirt and blue jeans.
