Man Shot In Leg Near Oak Park Border

OAK PARK, IL — A man was shot in the leg in Chicago's Austin neighborhood near the border of Oak Park Friday. The shooting took place at approximately 8:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Austin.

The victim, 26, was reportedly walking through an alley when his left leg was hit by a bullet, according to Chicago Sun-Times.

He was rushed to Oak Park's West Suburban Medical Center, where he is in stable condition, police told Sun-Times. Police are still looking for the shooter.
