Man Swipes Three Bottles Of Jameson, Batters Store Employee: Oak Park Police

OAK PARK, IL — A Chicago man is accused of stealing three bottles of Jameson Irish Whiskey from Pete's Fresh Market in the 6400 block of Roosevelt Tuesday. After an investigation Oak Park Police arrested Alonzo Woods, 52, of the 100 block of North Mayfield, in Chicago.

The theft took place at approximately 3:12 p.m., when store employees noticed Woods trying to conceal three bottles of Jameson whiskey, according to police. As Woods exited Pete's Fresh Market with the whiskey, police say he became physical with the store employee. Woods has been charged with aggravated retail theft.
