Munch opens for Meatless Monday Brunch

After two years of establishing itself as Oak Park's go-to spot for homemade, vegan comfort food – Munch, 104 N. Marion, has evolved to cater to customer demands announcing they will now be open every Monday for Meatless Monday Brunch from 10-4pm offering a special menu.

“Must-try” brunch dishes according to Munch staff include the Cornmeal Pancakes and Tofu Scramble – all prepared homemade by Chef Vincent Diaz (former chef at House of Blues) and Chef Jose Marban (former chef at JA' Grill). A crowd-favorite is the Breakfast Threesome, which includes two cornmeal pancakes, tofu scramble and “bacon or “sausage”.

The 22 seat restaurant in Downtown Oak Park is open Monday 11-4pm (Brunch), Tuesday – Thursday 11-8pm, Friday 11-9pm, Saturday 10-9pm and Sunday 10-4pm (Brunch). Munch is a cash only restaurant, and also offers seasonal specials, homemade soups, smoothies, as well as vegan and gluten free baked goods. Visit their Facebook page for restaurant updates.
