No Such Thing as Bad Press - Right Miguel?

It was the knee drop heard around the Billboard Music Awards.  Apparently, singer-songwriter Miguel thought he could raise his profile with a “leap of faith” between stages at the recent award show.   While there are conflicting stories about whether or not he was warned against performing the stunt, Huffington Post points out that there was a clear camera shot of the leap and the landing. 

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) for Miguel, he landed a couple of unsuspecting fans, allegedly injuring one.  Khyati Shah is claiming that she sustained “a neurological head injury” as the result of Miguel’s leg landing on her head and banging it against the stage.  Whether or not Miguel was warned against jumping, Ms. Shah is an innocent victim - and the whole thing is on tape!
