Oak Park Craft Brewing Hopefuls Recommended for Liquor License

The recommendation for Noble Kinsmen to get a liquor license will be presented March 16 to the Village Board of Trustees.

Noble Kinsmen, the planned craft brewery for Roosevelt Road, has been recommended for a liquor license by Oak Park’s Liquor Control Review Board.

The recommendation will be presented March 16 to the Village Board of Trustees, according to oakpark.com. If the board approves the liquor license, the brewery owners must also get construction permits from the village and a permit from the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau.

The board has amended the village’s zoning code so craft breweries are allowed in Oak Park, and it approved a special-use permit in November for Noble Kinsmen to set up at 6806 Roosevelt Road, according to the Chicago Tribune.
