Oak Park Police Reports: Trespass, Car Theft, Burglary

Oak Park police reported crimes from Dec. 31 to Jan. 4.

The following information is from the Oak Park Police Department.

Corinna Morales, 29 of the 4800 block of W. 28th Street in Cicero was arrested Dec. 31 in the 800 block of Lake and charged with driving while license is suspended. Morales was released on bond.

Pianche A. Guidy-Watkins, of the 800 block of S. Grove, was arrested Dec. 31 for criminal trespass at a business in the 800 block of Madison after having been warned not to return to the property.

Elonzo Holmes, 40 of the 7700 block of S. Kingston in Chicago, was arrested Jan. 1 for retail theft after leaving CVS in the 600 block of Lyman without paying for items he had concealed.

Sherard T. Weaver, 19 of 1200 block of N. Lombard, was arrested Jan. 1 on an active order of protection, which was discovered during a name check during a traffic stop in the 6900 block of W. North Avenue in Chicago. Weaver’s juvenile passenger was the protected party named in the order.

Someone entered a 2013 silver Toyota Prius Jan. 3 through an unlocked door in the 200 block of N. Grove. Once inside, the inside was ransacked and multiple keys were taken. The keys allowed access to a 2002 black Buick Rendezvous, which was taken. The estimated loss is $1,025.

Someone entered a garage between Jan. 2 and 3 in the 600 block of N. Elmwood through an unlocked side service door. $30 was taken from an unlocked car.
