Dangerously low winter temperatures kept some schools closed Wednesday and Thursday this week. The fate of Friday classes is still to-be-determined for many in the Chicago suburbs.

The following schools in Oak Park-River Forest have reported they will be open Friday, Jan. 9, according to the Emergency Closing Center website and district websites.

- Oak Park And River Forest High School District 200
- St. Catherine of Sienna/St. Lucy School
- Ascension School
- St. Vincent Ferrer School
