OPRF Shakespeare Slam Team Wins First in Battle of the Bard Competition
The 7-student team performed the first scene of Taming of the Shrew and a 7-play ensemble mash-up piece

Beating out 30 other schools, the 2015 OPRF Shakespeare Slam team took first place in Chicago Shakespeare Theatre’s Battle of the Bard on Tuesday evening.
The 7-student team performed the first scene of Taming of the Shrew and a 7-play ensemble mash-up piece entitled “The Seven Ages of Shakespeare.”

The team’s renditions had the 350 people gathered around Chicago Shakespeare’s main stage roaring and then enraptured.
