OPRFHS Show Choir Sweeps Midwest Nationals

Submitted by Oak Park and River Forest High School District 200.

The OPRF show choir, Noteworthy, was named Grand Champion at the Midwest Nationals Show Choir Competition, beating out 13 other competitors.

In addition, the choir won Best Vocals and Best Choreography — a notable achievement given that they were the only competitor to have student-created choreography.

Half of the Noteworthy set was choreographed by students Margot Frank, Rachel Pospisil, Maggie Lynch, Alonte Williams and Yohana Ansari-Thomas.

Noteworthy will show off its award-winning performers at a concert April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Oak Park River Forest High School auditorium.
