Shock and awe

John Komala What the...?

Dawn Balestrieri-Glossa What the what?!?!

Nicole Nock Holy crap.

Leighton Shell Thar she blows!

Geyser jokes

Jill Zeugner WOW!! Right in front of OPRF High School, Old faithful erupted!

Joe Abboreno Yosemite should stay where it is.

Stephen Miller Teddy Roosevelt would put a wooden sign nearby and start charging camping fees.

Grand observations

David Fingerman Welp, I guess there's been some rain.

Dave Jones Apparently, they're getting a bit of rain this morning back in Chicago.

Wait, the school is still open?

Robert Barlow And my highschool is still open!

Victoria Poulsen Picture taken of the street in front of OPRF. And no, apparently they kept the school open. Well some of us cross country skied to that school so I guess the kids can use canoes for this storm.

Al Aniñon This is cool and all but what would have been more amazing is if OPRF ever had an unscheduled closing. Only happened once in my 4 years there, when the library flooded from a burst pipe.

It's not the rain, it's just OPRF jokes.

Robin Hargadon I always knew those OPRF 4th floor bathrooms had bad plumbing...

Stephen Preischel The new fountain they installed is really nice.

The silver lining

Jill Johnson This is certainly helping me put our back yard flooding in perspective. Holy Cow

The explainer

Tim OHara Water rushes in to the system faster than trapped air can escape. You get a geyser when the air finally has enough pressure to make its own exit.
