Power Outage Reported at D90 Lincoln School Tuesday Morning

Update: 12 p.m.

Power was restored to Lincoln School before the start of lunch period Tuesday. Superintendent Ed Condon asserted in an email that classes were not affected by the outage.

Classes continue as usual Tuesday morning at Lincoln Elementary School in River Forest despite a weather-related power outage.

Superintendent Ed Condon sent an email to District 90 families around 9:30 a.m. announcing the ”temporary disruption in electrical service,” and he said students and faculty are safe.

He said ComEd is aware of the outage, and power is expected to return during school hours. Families were assured that the school’s phone service is functional, in case of emergency.
