Robbers Grab Man From Behind, Hold Sharp Object To Neck: Police

Two unidentified men robbed an individual at gunpoint in the 100 block of South Maple on Friday.

OAK PARK, IL — Shortly after 3 a.m. Friday, two men approached a victim from behind near the 100 block of South Maple. According to police, the offenders grabbed the victim from behind and placed a sharp object behind the victim's neck. The offender(s) then allegedly said, "Give money," before removing the victims wallet, which contained $40 cash and credit cards. The offenders then fled westbound through the adjacent parking lot. The first offender is described as a 20-year-old black male, approximately 5'0" tall with braided hair. The second offender was described as a black male, but no additional description was provided.
