Running Car With Carseats Inside Stolen From Oak Park Home

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park police are looking for a suspect who stole a 2008 Ford Escape from a home Wednesday morning. The theft took place in the 500 block of Taylor Ave. at approximately 7 a.m., police say.

According to police, the victim's car was running and had been left unattended when it was stolen. Two carseats were in the back of the vehicle at the time.

Police say the total estimated loss is $7,200.
