School Board to Decide on Athletic Trainers' Contracts

The District 200 Board of Education is expected to vote Thursday on whether to stick with the current company it uses for athletic trainers, Athletico, or to go with NovaCare, which has submitted a cheaper bid for its services, according to Wednesday Journal.
The cost to continue with Athletico, which provides two athletic trainers for Oak Park and River High School, would be $196,000 for a three-year contract while going with NoveCare wouldcost the school district $126,000, according to the Wednesday Journal.
