Scream Mask Robber Holds Up Woman at Gunpoint in Own Garage

OAK PARK, IL -- A man dressed in all black and wearing a white Scream mask held up a woman at gunpoint in her own garage, Oak Park police said.

The robber entered the woman’s garage in the 500 block of South Humphrey around 9:40 p.m. Aug. 30. The woman was confronted as she exited her vehicle. According to reports, the man brandished a black semi-auto handgun, demanding, “Gimme everything.”

The woman handed over an orange purse containing a Samsung tablet, Apple iPhone, a Nexus cell phone, credit cards, and $200 cash.
