Spa License Revoked After Undercover Investigation In Oak Park
Police posed as clients after hearing reports of suspicious activity.

OAK PARK, IL --- Police have revoked the business license for a spa in Oak Park after an undercover investigation following reports of illegal activity. A hearing held Monday determined that Sunny Spa, located at 1053 Madison St., created a public nuisance, according to police.
Police reportedly went to the spa and posed as clients after getting complaints from residents about suspicious activity. Evidence collected during the investigation led police to conduct the hearing on whether to revoke the spa's license.
At the hearing, village officials listened to police share the results of a joint investigation led by the Oak Park Police Department and the Cook County Sheriff's Department. They also heard statements from the owner and lawyer representing Sunny Spa before making their determination.
