Teenager Dies After Being Shot In Maywood Wednesday
A juvenile died Thursday after being shot multiple times in the 600 block of South 11th Avenue around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

MAYWOOD, IL — A shooting in Maywood Wednesday has left a teenager dead and a community searching for answers. The shooting took place in the 600 block of South 11th Avenue at approximately 4 p.m. The victim, who was rushed to Loyola University Medical Center, died Thursday of multiple gunshot wounds.
Maywood Police say the juvenile was shot "multiple times" and that the shooting is still being investigated. Police found the alleged shooter's car, but no suspects were in custody as of Friday. Community organizer Anthony Clark posted about the 14-year-old's death on the Facebook group Suburban Unity Alliance. Clark simply wrote, "I have no words. Only tears..."
