WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Nickel Group proud of their recent work with Backpacks 4 Class, helping students in District 97.
WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Nickel Group, located in Oak Park, is proud of the work they’ve recently done with Backpacks 4 Class, helping to provide school supplies to underprivileged students in District 97.
Backpacks 4 Class is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting, coordinating and developing the collection of backpacks filled with all of the supplies a child will need to have a successful school year. Their hope is that through this collection the children who receive these items excel scholastically as well as learn the importance of staying active in the classroom.
“Throughout the summer we helped collect donations at Nickel Group hosted events and gathered supplies left at drop-boxes through the community. Our agents filled over 400 backpacks with proper school supplies to help make students’ 2014-2015 school year a success,” said John Lawrence, owner and manager of WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Nickel Group. “Knowing the impact we made on the students and teachers of District 97 was the most rewarding part of this partnership.”
