Work at Forming A Connection

Saw this in an elevator this week on one of those scrolling news boards. This was a 'work tip' and the theory of it is that if you connect with those you work with and for, several things will happen: because of the connection, when you need help, they will be there for you; when it comes time to 'pull together' as a team, they will be happy to, and, because you have connected, you will understand each other better as you function on that team; your day to day feelings about work will be more enthusiastic because you feel connected; the results will be better because the 'team' is stronger than the individual.

Well, forming connections would work to our benefit as caregivers then too!! and, studies show that your mental health improves when you feel connected with others.

Connections can be simple things like expressing support, providing advice, listening, extending a helping hand, recognizing someone else's situation/thoughts/interests.
