• Multi-vehicle crash on I-70 injures eight in Warren County (warrencountyrecord.com) — Five O’Fallon, Illinois residents, including three children, were among eight people injured in a five-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on I-70 in Warren County, Missouri. State troopers say two tractor-trailers and three passenger vehicles were involved, with all injured occupants wearing seat belts and taken to area hospitals as investigators documented significant damage and cleared the interstate. 
• Charles White (riverbender.com) — O’Fallon is mourning longtime resident Charles “Chuck” White, a devoted family man and former co-owner of C & C Sports Stop in town. Friends and neighbors are invited to celebrate his life on Sunday, August 9, at American Legion Post 137 on North Penn Street.
