Alsip Man Steals Seafood, Booze From Orland Park Mariano's: Cops
Prosecutor said Alsip man walked out of Orland Park Mariano's with large quantity of lobster tails, scallops and 25 bottles of booze.

ALSIP, IL -- An Alsip man was arrested after he walked out of the Orland Park Mariano’s store with more than $1,000 worth of seafood and booze, prosecutors said. Antiwan Greene, 42, appeared before Cook County Judge Michael Kane on a charge of retail theft.
The prosecutor said Greene entered Mariano’s at 142nd Street and LaGrange Road around 7:18 p.m. July 12. Store security spotted Greene allegedly taking lobster tails, scallops and 25 bottle of liquor off the shelves. He was confronted by security outside the store, according to the charges. The total amount of merchandise stolen was $1,238.
Bail was set at $7,500. Greene’s next court hearing is scheduled for Aug. 30.
