AUDITIONS: Orland Township's Senior American Idol!

ORLAND PARK, IL - Orland Township is looking for the next singing senior superstar! Supervisor Paul O'Grady and the Board of Trustees want ALL seniors, age 55 or older, to come try out for Orland Township's Senior American Idol! The main event, which gives back to the community by benefiting the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation, has steadily gained popularity in the past few years; making it the largest senior event hosted by the Township.

Each contestant is asked to sing a two to three-minute segment of a song of their choice, a cappella, for a panel of judges. This year, duets and trios will be able to audition and compete as well. The top contestants will be selected to compete at the finals on March 7.

Orland Township's Senior American Idol auditions will take place on Monday, January 22 and Monday, January 29 at the Orland Township Administrative Offices, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park. Check-in begins at 5 p.m., with auditions starting at 5:30 p.m. Register by calling Orland Township at (708) 403-4222.
