BREAKING NEWS: The Illinois Attorney General has contacted the Village of Orland Park requesting an explanation into why the village claimed there was no communication with the state regarding delinquent audits the village failed to file in 2022 and 2023, when in fact, there were several emails between the village and Comptroller's office.

The exact same Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request regarding the delinquent audits was sent to the Illinois Comptroller's office, which provided several emails and other communication from Orland Park staff admitting the village's failure to file resulting in the village being declared delinquent for the first time in Orland Park's 132 year history.
“For a Mayor who constantly slanders his political opponents for not being transparent and honest he really isn’t himself, said Conor Gorman, the Orland Park resident who alerted the Attorney General. "It’s funny everything he accuses people of he’s the one doing it, Gorman continued. "This also begs the question how many other times has he lied and have denied other FOIAs to the public and what is he hiding?”
