Upon opening their first location in Orland Park, nearly 10 years ago, Bundt Cake Bob stepped up to the plate as a devoted community leader, role model, volunteer, philanthropist, and Bundt Cake Guru, along with his equally loving and giving family, Beth Feldman and Seth Feldman, weaving a tapestry of never-before-seen kindness, blanketing the region in a uniquely sweet brand of love.
With the help and support of Beth Feldman, Seth Feldman, Kathy Reed, Joanne Johnson, all the dedicated Bundt Crews, and the entire Southland community, the beloved Bundt cake baker, community leader, and role model, eventually opened a second Nothing Bundt Cakes location in Mokena, IL, where he took the Lincoln-Way region by storm, expanding upon his mission of spreading, peace, happiness, kindness and love... like frosting on Bundt cakes.
Bundt Cake Bob and his family quickly became the heart and soul of the Southland, providing the world's best Bundt cakes to sweeten lives during good times and comfort lives during bad times.
The Feldman Family has become a household name in the Southland for their extremely generous philanthropy, giving away countless donations, products and services to special needs and disability organizations, charitable organizations, public and private schools, places of worship, hospitals, medical centers, pharmacies and fellow businesses.
Bundt Cake Bob’s love of life, free spirit, generous nature, volunteer work, unconditional love for every person he meets, and his generous, compassionate, loving heart of gold has endeared him to legions of fans.
Bob Feldman and his family quickly established strong relationships with fellow small business owners such as Aesthetica Skin Care and Sterk Family Law Group, P.C., which helped them survive and thrive throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic, while providing solid advice to other small business leaders via jointly produced ZOOM broadcasts.
The Feldman Family’s original Nothing Bundt Cakes in Orland Park catapulted itself to legendary status becoming a local phenomenon, which earned them the coveted title of "Bakery of the Year 2018", a distinction awarded to only one Nothing Bundt Cakes location in North America!
Lightning struck twice when the Mokena location pulled in #1 sales ranking during the soft grand opening and evolved into another #1 award-winning location. The Feldman Family had to quickly learn how to build shelves to hold an endless stream of national and local awards and accolades. The Feldman Family recently opened a third location in Bradley.
The business savvy is obviously there, but for Bundt Cake Bob, the heart and soul of a business is what matters more than anything else!
Bob Feldman’s friends lovingly tease...when you open the dictionary and look up the definition of “Hero” there is a picture of "Bundt Cake Bob."He doesn’t wear a cape, doesn’t leap tall buildings in a single bound, and doesn’t automatically eject from a “Bat-Mobile” however he does drive a “Bundt Mobile”, which is even cooler than a "Bat-Mobile", and delivers nothing Bundt happiness, like an old-fashioned ice-cream truck spreading "Good Humor" on a sweltering summer day.
Selfless giving, philanthropy, and volunteerism has always been the very fabric of Bob Feldman’s life. He has devoted his entire life to helping others and took his kindness to a whole new level when he became a small business owner.
Feldman's selfless, heartfelt passion for giving and his unconditional love for others sparked his most memorable endeavor ever, “Sweet Relief” where he risked his own life in the early days of the Covid-19 Pandemic to deliver surprise sweet treat donations to over-worked, emotionally drained, mentally and physically exhausted front-line workers at hospitals, police stations, fire departments, grocery stores, hardware stores, doctor’s offices and more!
His selfless acts of kindness meant the world to people on the front lines, who probably skipped lunch, and were starving for a small bite of anything, not to mention a small morsel of normalcy and joy... in a situation that was anything but normal. “Sweet Relief” best described the feelings of intense joy evoked daily by those cakes.
Bob Feldman could have easily stayed at home…warm and safe with his family…protected from possible Covid-19 exposure…instead he went out there every day, risking his life, in spite of his protective mask and gloves, he knew it was a risk…and it weighed on his mind and heart…but to him…the momentary relief…the brief smile from underneath a first-responder’s mask…and the tears of joy he witnesses daily on his journey of love…far outweighed the risk to himself.
Bob Feldman chose to courageously step up and personally deliver “Sweet Relief” to the truly essential workers, the brave men and women, who were working around the clock healing and helping mankind get access to medical care, basic necessities to live, and another day of survival.
When asked why he does it…with his usual humility he would reply, “We owe them that much.” And we all owe a great deal of gratitude to Bundt Cake Bob for courageously being a different kind of hero.
Bob Feldman has always made a difference in this world...but his selfless acts of kindness during the Covid-19 Pandemic elevated him from Hero to Super Hero status.
Patronize Bob, Beth and Seth's business whenever you can...you will walk through the front door as a guest, become a friend, and walk out the door as family. That is just the way the Feldman Family does business...serving people from the heart...providing contemporary products and services...with old-fashioned traditional values.
Bundt Cake Bob Feldman’s Nothing Bundt Cakes are baked with nothing "Bundt" LOVE and everyone who walks through the door is treated with nothing "Bundt" LOVE!
