The Cancer Support Center presents Fitness and Networking Group

On Tuesday, July 28, 2015, The Cancer Support Center will host a Fitness and Networking Group at its Mokena location, 19657 South LaGrange Road, Mokena, IL 60448, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. This session will cover and explain the benefits of social wellness.

No matter your age or stage this group will help you find the most efficient and effective ways to meet your fitness and wellness goals. Out supportive team of professionals will help you identify ways to increase your quality of life and improve your wellness through discussion, presentation and support in relation to each aspect of wellness.

In 2014, The Center provided more than 10,700 hours of programming and more than 300 free wigs, scarves and hats to women who were losing their hair due to chemotherapy, demonstrating the need in its communities. Offices are located in Homewood, 2028 Elm Road, and Mokena, 19657 S. LaGrange Road, and the programs are also facilitated at several hospitals and cancer centers in the southland communities. The Center is able to provide these resources to anyone living with cancer, at no charge, because of the generosity of individuals, businesses and organizations.
