An Orland Park officer recognized the man from a past incident on church security video, police said.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- An Orland Park man was arrested after he was recognized from surveillance video vandalizing a church, police said. Luke Corrigan, 32, is charged with five felony counts of a hate crime to a church, and arson to a place of worship.

Around 2:20 a.m. Oct. 26, Orland Park police were checking the World Lutheran Church, 16301 Wolf Road. It appeared as if someone had also tried to start a fire in the church.
