Dealing With Climate Change

Climate change is here, just as climate scientists accurately predicted decades ago: hotter and longer heat waves, more frequent and severe wildfires, deadlier floods, longer droughts, more powerful hurricanes, and deeper inundation of coastal cities. For climate change papers published between 2010-2020 in refereed science journals ( the gold standard in scientific validation), a whopping 99.97% supported that human activity is causing the current global warming. (https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/ac2966). And climate change scientists forecast that the next decades will bring increasingly worse consequences unless we take urgent action.

It’s clear that we need knowledgeable leaders in Congress to address this crisis. Sixth District Congressman Sean Casten (D) is uniquely equipped for this challenge.
