Everything You Need to Know about Medicare

Seniors having difficulty making sense of their healthcare coverage are invited to sign up for a free seminar with Orland Township that will give them an overall look at Medicare and Medicare Part D coverage, according to the office of Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.

The seminar will be conducted by the Township’s Medicare expert and Senior Health Insurance Program coordinator Kathy Kenyeri, and will cover all aspects of Medicare, Medicare Part D, enrollment periods, Medicare Part A and B benefits, prescription benefits, supplemental insurance policies, home healthcare, managed care and much more.

“Understanding insurance coverage can be a daunting task,” said Supervisor O’Grady. “I invite residents to take advantage of this seminar so they can have a better understanding of their healthcare coverage.”

The “Everything You Need to Know About Medicare” seminar will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to CDC guidelines and social distancing requirements, the seminar will be limited to 40 participants. An additional seminar may be added if needed. All attendees will be required to wear a face mask while inside the Township building.
