Former Congressman Joe Walsh to Appear at Sharon Brannigan Fund Raiser

Former congressman Joe Walsh will speak at a fund raiser for Sharon Brannigan, who’s challenging Democrat Dan Lipinski in the 3rd Congressional District.

The fund raiser takes place Sept. 18, 2014, at Davidson’s Bar and Grill, 14136 S. Bell Road, Homer Glen, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Walsh, a favorite of the Tea Party, is currently the talk show host of 560 AM, The Answer. He served one term in the 8th Congressional District, from 2011 to 2013, having beaten three-term Democrat Melissa Bean. He lost his seat to Tammy Duckworth.
