Genesis Therapy Hosts The 13th Annual Kid Power Charity Event

A fundraising event that raises money for local children. Win prizes, eat great food, don't miss out!

On Sunday, October 30th, the 13th annual Kidpower Keeping Kids First fundraiser will be held at Chicago Gaelic Park. Between 2 and 6 p.m., food and entertainment will be provided during this silent auction event to raise money for children in need. This event is open to the public, and is hosted by Genesis Therapy Center and Oak Lawn Family Services every year to raise funds for families seeking quality therapy services that their financial situation may not otherwise allow.

Throughout the afternoon, DJ Steve Mac will be pumping out the jams, and plenty of food will be available, including tacos that will be grilled onsite. A caricaturist will also be present, illustrating fun portraits for kids and adults alike. Guests can try their luck at winning exciting raffle prizes, such as:

  • Amazon Echo
  • Pebble Smart Watch
  • Weber Q Grill

Raffle tickets cost $5 each, or five for $20. Adult tickets are $35, tickets for children 6-20 are only $5; children 5 and under are free. Parental supervision is required for children under age 5. The Kids Korner admission price includes a face painter, games, prizes, and activities for kids ages 3+. Tickets include buffet, drinks, and dessert, and proceeds will directly support Genesis Therapy and Oak Lawn Family Services' dedicated Children's Services departments.
