Gunshot Victim Found at UChicago Orland: Police
The victim was taken to Christ Hospital but would not tell police where he was shot.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Authorities found a gunshot victim near the University of Chicago Orland Park on Saturday night and are now investigating how and where he was shot, the Orland Park Police Department said.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, called 911 and requested assistance for a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He was taken to Christ Hospital to be treated for a non life-threatening injury, according to authorities.
Police found the man with his car, which had four bullet holes on the front side, but the victim refused to tell them where he was shot. Video footage showed the bullet holes were already present when he entered the area from northbound La Grange Road, and there were no reports of shots fired in Orland Park or surrounding areas, police said.
