Commissioner Rubino's Office Continues Intergovernmental Agreement with Park District
Orland Park, IL - The Orland Township Highway Department and the Tinley Park-Park District will continue an Intergovernmental Agreement for road salt this season.
Last season, the Village of Tinley Park abruptly stopped a long standing agreement with the Tinley Park-Park District.
Orland Township’s Highway Commissioner Antonio Rubino found a solution for the Park District. On February 27, 2023, Rubino passed a resolution approving the Tinley Park-Park District to purchase salt from the Highway Department.

“Last year, we found a solution to a problem quite frankly the Park District never should have had,” said Commissioner Antonio Rubino. “We should be working together for the betterment of our community and not self interest.”
