Orland Park, IL – Highway Commissioner Antonio Rubino enhanced the Holiday Lights Recycling Program when he first took office in 2021.

Together, along with the Highway Department, these four businesses helped recycle 2,539lbs of holiday lights.

“I am so thankful to the local businesses that offered to be a collection site,” said Highway Commissioner Rubino. “If you dispose of holiday lights in the trash, they will sit in landfills for years; so together we have made a difference.”
