Intoxicated Orland Park Woman Takes a Snooze in Stranger's Car, Gets Arrested: Cops
A woman walked to her car after work and found someone sleeping in it, police said.

An intoxicated, apparently tired Orland Park woman picked out a parked car, got inside and went to sleep, police said.
The woman, 33-year-old Jennifer Ross, had reportedly been at the police station just a half hour before the cops were called on her for sleeping in someone else’s car. She had been dropped off at the station after she ended up locked out of a residence, police said.
Ross went to sleep in a car belonging to an employee of the Michaels store on LaGrange Road, police said. The worker had just finished her shift and walked out to her Malibu Maxx to drive home.

When the woman peered into the car, she found Ross asleep in the driver’s seat, police said. Property that she had kept in the car was also strewn about it on the ground, police said.
The woman woke Ross, who “began arguing with” her, police said, so the woman called the cops.

The officer sent to the parking lot reportedly recognized Ross from “having just dropped her off at the police station approximately 30 minutes prior.”
Ross explained to the officer that “she contacted a friend and she was dropped off at Michaels,” police said.
“Jennifer initially stated that she was asleep in the vehicle and when she awoke, she did not know how she got there,” police said “Jennifer then stated that she was not sleeping in the car and that she did ‘nothing wrong.’”
Ross was “visibly intoxicated” and her “eyes were glassy and bloodshot,” police said.
“Jennifer stated she was drunk and did not know what happened,” police said.
Ross was arrested and taken back to the police station.
