ORLAND PARK, IL — Families across Illinois are preparing to gather this Christmas, when many will enjoy good company, lots of presents and the perfect holiday meal.

In our quest to make that perfect holiday meal, it’s almost inevitable we’ll forget an item or two on our grocery lists. Most grocery stores in Illinois will close on Christmas Day, but many will be open for those last-minute additions on Christmas Eve.
