Last Chance to See the Easter Bunny and Hunt for Eggs

This weekend also features a great service for those in need. It's time for Easter and there's a lot to do in Orland over the holiday.

Easter doesn’t have to be all egg hunts, but there will still be plenty of eggs to find around the town this weekend.

Rock Bottom’s Easter Gathering, 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday

For the 5th year, , will be serving breakfast to underprivileged families, before holding their Easter Brunch. In a partnership with Together We Cope*, the restaurant first serves to those in need at 8:30 a.m., and then opens for their full brunch at 11 a.m.

Best Buy’s 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, 8 a.m. Saturday

15854 S. LaGrange Rd.

Over 5,500 Easter eggs will be placed throughout for children to find, and $400 worth in prizes will be available. The youngins will also be able to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Did I mention our bunny picture contest? Just making sure you’re paying attention.

Calvary Church’s Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. Saturday

16100 S. 104th Ave.

will be holding their open-to-the-community Easter celebration with an egg hunt, refreshments and an Easter craft.

Alden Estates’ Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, 9 a.m. Saturday

16450 S. 97th Ave.

Orland Park’s elderly care center will be holding two special breakfasts for families to spend time with their loved ones, and see the Easter Bunny as well. Seatings are at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
