Man Accused of Trying to Buy Car Using 7-Year-Old Boy's Social Security Number
Orland Park car dealer said man also them his monthly salary was $160,000, prosecutor alleges.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- A Lincolnwood man was arrested after it was discovered that he falsified documents to buy a $65,000 car at an Orland Park car dealership, prosecutors said Tuesday in court.
Nizar Fneiche, 41, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a forgery charge. He was arrested on Nov. 28 at Joe Rizza Ford, 8100 W. 159th St., Orland Park.
The prosecutor said Fneiche went to the car dealership to purchase a 2017 GT 350 Shelby Mustang. Fneiche allegedly presented a false social security number and told the dealership he earned a monthly salary of $160,000.

“What professional sports team does he play for?” Judge Felice asked.
Fneiche indicated that he worked for Lucky Engineering in Orland Park. When the dealership went to call his employer’s phone number for a reference, it was for a local dental office. The company turned out to be located in Hong Kong, the prosecutor said.

The dealer also learned the social security number allegedly provided by Fneiche belonged to a 7-year-old California boy.
The prosecutor said that Fneiche had a prior conviction in 2002 for possession of dangerous drugs, for which he received a 63-month sentence.
Fneiche’s attorney told the judge that he is an interpreter for hospitals. The 2002 conviction was also appealed and reduced to a misdemeanor conviction.
“At least as he’s explained it to me,” the attorney said.
Bail was set at $25,000. Fneiche’s next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 15 in Bridgeview.
