Man Arrested After Stealing $900 In Purses, Fleeing Police: Orland PD
A Chicago man was arrested July 22 after snagging several hundreds of dollars' worth of purses from Nordstrom Rack.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A Chicago man was nabbed last week after stealing purses from Nordstrom Rack and leading police on a brief chase into Whole Foods, police said Wednesday.
Steve Reyna, of Chicago, took off with several purses and ran across the street into the parking lot of the Hooters restaurant, where he flung the merchandise down in between cars. Police then spotted him in the Whole Foods parking lot, when he fled inside the store. Customers witnessed the ordeal as officers chased after Reyna.
Reyna, 32, struggled against officers as they attempted to arrest him, according to reports, and was seen putting a "pink, plastic baggy with a white, powdery substance" into his mouth. Police eventually cuffed Reyna and led him from the scene.
