Fifth Annual Running with the Bulldogs 5k Walk and Run

WHAT: The Fifth Annual Running with the Bulldogs 5K Walk and Run to benefit the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation on Sunday, September 25th, 2016. The Treasure Chest Foundation is an Orland Park-based, non-profit organization that provides comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens diagnosed with cancer by providing a toy or gift card in 49 hospitals nationwide.

WHO: Attendees will have a chance to enjoy the weather and the big race atmosphere. This event is an excellent format to challenge the athletic skills and endurance of residents of all ages.

WHEN: Sunday, September 25th, 2016, 8:00 a.m.

WHERE: Richards High School, 10601 Central Ave. in Oak Lawn

WHY: Last year the race was appreciated by more than 400 seasoned runners, new runners and walkers who helped raise $6,382. During the past four years Running with the Bulldogs 5K Run and Walk raised more than $32,200 on behalf of brave children and teens battling cancer.
