Mobile Museum of Tolerance in South Suburbs next week
The traveling education center fighting intolerance and hate hits Lansing Sept. 18-19
LANSING -- A summer full of educational visits has turned into a new fall opportunity for us in the South Suburbs to fight hate and intolerance.
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance visits Lansing next week, Sept. 18-19, in a visit open to the public at the Lansing Public Library.

The Mobile Museum of Tolerance is an arm of the Simon Wiesenthal Center: https://mmot.com/. The MMOT is the first traveling education center of its kind in the United States and visits school districts and public places across Illinois to offer free education and awareness about the very real threat of hate and intolerance in our communities.
The MMOT has proven very popular since its creation, and is now booked to appear in school districts and libraries throughout Illinois well into 2025. The bus offers workshops and a hands-on educational platform to reach thousands of students and encourage them to speak against bullying, hate, racism, anti-Semitism, and much more.
The bus will visit your area:
· Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 18-19
· Sept 18: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sept. 19: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
· Lansing Public Library District (2750 Indiana Ave, Lansing, IL)
