Orland Cops Stake Out Dunkin Donut Rooftops For Special Olympics
Orland Park and Orland Hills police will stake out the rooftops of Dunkin Donuts stores May 18 to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois.

ORLAND PARK-ORLAND HILLS, IL -- Orland Park and Orland Hills police will be sitting on top of Dunkin Donuts shops in their respective communities to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois athletes. The 2018 Cop on a Rooftop event will be held statewide at Dunkin Donuts stores on Friday, May 18. More than 293 law enforcement agencies plan to participate.
Officers will be accepting donations to be used to train 22,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and promote 20 sports through more than 180 competitions. Police will also have Special Olympics T-shirts available, Torch Run hats and Special Olympics coffee thermos mugs -- while supplies last. All proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics Illinois.
Orland Hills police will be camped on top of the Dunkin Donuts shop at 8940 W. 159th St., Orland Park from 5 a.m. to noon.

Orland Park police will be staking out Dunkin Donuts locations from 5 a.m. to noon at 11309 W 143rd St., 14461 S. La Grange Road and 15609 S. Harlem Ave.
