Orland Park Veterans Commission Seeks Military Memorabilia Vendors for Expo

Commission to Host Annual Military Expo April 7

ORLAND PARK, IL (March 7, 2019) – The Village of Orland Park Veterans Commission will host its annual Military Expo, Collectibles Show & Sale on Sunday, April 7 at the Orland Park Civic Center.

“We have a great schedule planned for the entire family,” said Commission Liaison Tom Dubelbeis. “We have trains, animals, Frankie the Dinosaur and a number of military memorabilia vendors.”

The Will County Model Railroad Association will be on site for the duration of the event, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Animal Quest Petting Zoo will be at the expo from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and Frankie the Dinosaur will make an appearance from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

“We have room for a few more military memorabilia vendors,” Dubelbeis said. “Nearly anything military such as field equipment, helmets, ribbons, badges, uniforms, helmets, war and trench art, books, war posters, knives and bayonets --- anything that can be sold or traded.

Admission to the expo is $5 for adults, $3 for veterans and seniors and children under age 12 free.

Attendees are asked to bring requested items for Kruze’s Krew who will be onsite collecting items to send to U.S. troops in harm’s way. A complete list of items needed appears on the Village of Orland Park Facebook Page and is available at the village hall.
