Orland Township Administration Building Sanitized and Disinfected
Township Administration building sanitized after regular business hours

Orland Township was notified late on Aug. 20 that a part-time employee tested positive for COVID-19, according to the office of Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.
In response, the Township implemented the following:
- As per guidelines from the CDC, the employee who tested positive is self-quarantining. The last time the employee was in the building was Aug. 18.
- Other employees who work in close proximity to said employee are also self-quarantining.
- The Township Administration building was cleaned and sanitized after regular business hours on Aug. 20.
When the employee last interacted with members of the public on Aug. 18, appropriate social distancing and safety practices were in place, including required mask wearing and plexiglass dividers.

Since the establishment of workplace safety guidelines by the CDC in March, Orland Township has required all employees to submit to daily temperature checks, social distancing, availability of hand sanitizer and required all individuals entering the Township building to wear a face mask.
Orland Township will resume regular business hours on Monday, Aug. 24.
