Orland Township 'Brings on the Blue

Blue ribbon campaign shows support and appreciation of first responders, front line workers

Orland Township has joined the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce and other local chambers and businesses in the ‘Bring on the Blue’ campaign, to show support and appreciation to first responders and all the workers on the front line battling the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the office of Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.

To kick-off the Township’s participation in the campaign, the trees and poles surrounding the Township Administration building on Ravinia Ave. have been adorned with blue ribbons.

“Displaying blue ribbons to show support of those who are on the front lines battling the pandemic is easy to do,“ said Supervisor O’Grady. “If we all participate, this easy task becomes a grand gesture on display throughout the community, showing our gratitude to all these heroes.”
