Orland Township to Host Back to School Health Fair
Immunizations and School Physicals by appointment only
Students in need of immunizations and/or physicals for the upcoming school year can make an appointment for Orland Township’s Back to School Health Fair, according to the office of Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady.
School physicals (sports and health) will be available for $35 for Township residents ($45 for non-residents) and proof of residency required.
Immunizations will be available for those who meet the following requirements:

- Must have an up-to-date U.S. immunization record
- Medicaid Title XIX (19) (*Please note: Orland Township no longer accepts Medicaid Title XXI (21))
- Native American or Alaska Native
- No Insurance
- Underinsured (insurance does not cover vaccines – must show insurance policy)
Anyone who meets the above requirements will be charged a $10 administration fee per vaccine ($20 administration fee per vaccine for non-Township residents) – cash or credit only.
Additionally, qualifying families can sign up to receive school supplies from the Orland Township Food Pantry.

“Even though the format of the upcoming school year is still being decided by our local school districts, it is important for students to stay current on their immunizations,” said Supervisor O’Grady. “I encourage residents to take advantage of our Back to School Health Fair and make an appointment if their students are in need of immunizations and/or school physicals.”
In accordance with CDC guidelines, everyone entering the Township building will be required to wear a face mask. Additionally, to ensure social distancing during the event, only children receiving immunizations and/or physicals, along with one parent or legal guardian will be allowed to enter the facility.
The Orland Township Back to School Health Fair will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Orland Township Offices, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park. Appointments are required, no walk-ins will be accepted. To make an appointment, residents should call the Township office at (708) 403-4222.
